Is Air conditioning environmentally friendly?
AC is environmentally friendly as long as the installation is done correctly and there is no leaks. There is various gasses in AC systems that are harmful to the environment and the atmosphere but it does not escape the installation at all if installed correctly. ( REFCOM ENGINEERS ).
Do Air conditioning units need re gassing on a regular basis?
AC units only need re gassing if there has been a leak, gas can last months in a system that has a minute leak. Every installation is pressure tested for this reason. If you have a leak the installation either wasn’t done properly or there is damage within the system.
Can Air conditioning heat and cool my property?

Is Air conditioning noisy?
AC units have become much more efficient over the years, both internally and externally they are very quiet.
Are Air conditioning units available in different colours?
AC units come in a variety of colours and can be ordered to suit most colours.
How often do Air conditioning units need maintaining?
AC units need regular maintenance depending on their usage.
Ideally every 3 months for wall mounted units and cassettes used on a regular basis.
Do external AC units need to be covered?
External AC units are made for external use and do not need to be covered. They need air flow around them and should be installed out the way of falling leaves and weeds etc.
What size Air conditioning unit is suitable for my room?
AC units come in various sizes depending on the size of the room.
The room size needs to be measured by a professional AC engineer then calculated to work out the most efficient size of unit.
Do Air conditioning units need condensation pumps?
Condensation pumps are used when a gravity fall isn’t possible.
For instance if a wall mounted unit is being installed in a bedroom and the condensation pipe needs to go up into the loft to find access out the building it would need to be pumped.
How long do Air conditioning units ?
AC units can last decades if they are installed properly and maintained properly and on a regular basis. I have installed AC units that have been running for over 20 years.
